Stephanie School Hospital Representative Stephanie is an Emergency Management Specialist for the Hospital Sisters Health System, Eastern Wisconsin Division. Stephanie manages the emergency management programs for St. Vincent, St. Mary’s, St. Clare, and St. Nicholas hospitals and serves as the leader of the NEW HERC Training and Exercise Committee. She has been involved in Wisconsin Hospital Emergency Preparedness since 2014.
Sara Lornson Public Health Representative Sara serves as a Public Health Nurse and Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) Coordinator for the City of De Pere Health Department. Sara has been a Public Health Nurse with De Pere since May of 2016, and PHEP Coordinator since January of 2018. As a Public Health Nurse, Sara is responsible for the department’s maternal child health, lactation, and home visitation program, lead prevention and case management program, and the Public Health Emergency Preparedness Program.
Deborah Holschbach Emergency Medical Services Representative Deborah has been involved with EMS since March of 1990 when she became a Newton First Responder and has remained active with EMS in Newton and Manitowoc County ever since; currently an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician. She has served in various positions in the Manitowoc County EMS Association including secretary for over 10 years. She is the Trauma Coordinator at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center where she employed as a nurse in the Emergency Department.
Chris Hohol Fire Representative Chris is a Lieutenant Training Officer for the Howard Fire Rescue Department, a Wisconsin MABAS Training Cadre member and Regional Support Coordinator. He currently serves in numerous roles including training, consulting and as EHS advisor and inspector. Chris currently is managing director of Fire & Industrial Response Enterprises, LLC, and in addition holds various other positions including Planning Section Chief on the state of Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Type 3 Incident Management Team.
Brian Kohlmeier Law Enforcement Representative Brain is the Assistant Chief of Police with the Two Rivers Police Department. Brian oversees all of the operations of the department in a community of approximately 12,000 within Manitowoc County. Brian is a 30 year veteran in law enforcement, previously working in the capacities of a trainer, special operations (SWAT) officer, Patrol Lieutenant, and Administrative Captain.
Nancy Bohrman Long Term Care Representative Nancy has been serving as the Administrator for Door County Medical Center (DCMC) Skilled Nursing Facility for the past five years. She serves as a member of the Emergency Management committee for DCMC and is responsible for the development and maintenance of Emergency Preparedness for the Skilled Nursing Facility. She has 30 years of experience working as a nurse in a variety of capacities.
Lauri Maki Emergency Management Representative Lauri found his passion for public safety in college. He started as a 911 Dispatcher for Northern Michigan’s Campus Safety before working with both Marquette County MI 911 and Brown County WI 911. While with Brown County, Lauri became a Certified Training Officer and a Quality Assurance Team Member. Throughout his 12 years with various 911 Centers, Lauri learned more about the Emergency Management side of Public Safety and decided to further his education in that area. After receiving an Emergency Management degree from UWGB, Lauri started working as the EM Coordinator for Brown County. After 2 ½ years and a short stint in Public Health, he has been back as EM Director for Brown County since August.
